Summit on Juniper FAQs

Below are some of the most frequently asked questions. If you have any additional questions or need further clarity on any of the items please do not hesitate to contact our leasing office.

  • I heard Summit on Juniper does not prorate rent? What does that mean since I move in the middle of the month? Correct, Summit on Juniper hs a term lease and a total amount is due for the term of your lease. As an example, if our 2 bedroom units are $1,294 per bed as listed on our website, that means that unit type has an amount owed for that term of $15,528. To make paying rent easier, we break that into equal installments through the lease, one installment do each month. $15,528 divided by the 12 months someone is in a unit from August to July, equates to $1,294 due each installment on the first of each month.
  • How does parking work? Summit on Juniper has unassigned parking. Residents will need to purchase an annual parking permit that is $30 for the 2022/2023 academic year.
  • How do I pay rent each month? Residents will have access to pay rent through their ResidentPortal. You can create/ login to your account here
  • Where do I bring my trash and recyclables? Next to each building there are trash and recycle bins to dispose of trash.
  • Can I bring my pet? Yes, Summit on Juniper is pet friendly. There is a $400 pet fee and a monthly $25 pet rent fee along with some additional information that will be completed during your application and lease signing process.
  • How does the internet work? Summit on Juniper has internet included for each resident. After moving in, you will receive login instructions to the network from Xfinity.
  • When does the shuttle run? The shuttle runs M-F 7 AM to 2:30 AM and 9 Am to 2:30 AM Sat and Sun. Please check with the office for updated schedules, routes, and stops. You can also access more information here.
  • My plans changed and I need to cancel my lease or move out early. What do I do? We understand that your circumstances may change either prior to move-in or during your stay with us. While there is no way to cancel your lease, you can relet your lease and find someone to take over your lease for the remainder of your lease term. A relet fee does apply and you continue to remain responsible for lease term installments until a new resident moves in. We can assist in this process as well and are happy to answer any questions you have about this process. Please contact our office and we will be happy to speak with you.
